CENTERM IMPROVEMENTS
BelPacific is undertaking the placement of approximately 500,000 cubic metres of landfill as part of the multi-million dollar Centerm Improvement project located in Vancouver, BC. This project will provide Casco Terminals Limited with a greatly expanded operations area, and will provide new berthage for both cargo and passenger ships. Suitable fill materials will be provided from various excavation projects located throughout the Greater Vancouver area, and the project is scheduled for completion in the Fall of 1999.
OCEAN DISPOSAL FACILITY
BelPacific operates Ocean Disposal facilities located centrally in downtown Vancouver, BC. These facilities enable us to dispose of clean excavated materials (subject to approval by Environment Canada) in a cost effective and environmentally sensitive manner. This service provides an alternative to hauling excavated materials far greater distances to suitable landfill site, and is available to other contractors as well. OUR STAFF
Our Estimating/Project Management staff includes Doug Webb and Ken Stobbart. Our General Superintendent for field operations is John Ashcroft. These personnel draw on many years experience in this trade and can offer effective and innovative solutions to many specialized situations. Our Shoring Division is frequently involved with many of our projects enabling us to provide a seamless completion of the excavation work under one contract.
